The Stock Market Game came about through a cooperative effort between John Beard, John and Stephen Cieply, Mark Toci, and Centre Learning Community Charter School. It is designed to help students answer some of the following essential questions by allowing students to become investors in the stock market. What is meant by investing and what are the ways in which you can invest money? What are the reasons for investing money? How do people decide when, where, and how to invest money? What are some of the positive aspects of investing? What are some of the negative aspects of investing? What is a stock and how do you invest in stocks? What stocks might you want to invest in?
