For-Fee Activity

Description

Active Games

Students will have an opportunity to play a variety of games including, but not limited to; basketball, dodge ball, hockey, kickball, baseball, etc. in the Big Room or outside. Offered daily.
Cooking Club
Students will learn how to safely prepare nutritious, yet quick, meals. The best part of the activity is getting to eat the project.
Drama Club
Drama Club meets two times a week during ESP. This club will focus on learning the basics of performance theater and how to put on a production.   We will also have workshops with a visiting actor during the year. Presently, Drama is working on "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", directed by Lauren Burke.

Field Trips:

Thursday, October 16th marked the first of six weeks at Penn Skates. Other field trips vary by week but have included trips to Penn State, theatre productions, laser tag, etc.

Instrumental
music
Students may continue individual and group instrumental lessons they may have started in elementary school.  Lessons include brass and wind instruments, taught by Mary Abbott, string instruments, taught by Tina Czakowski, and piano taught by Jessica Makufka.
Library Club

Help to keep our Library organized and interesting!
Movie
Lovers of the silver screen will gather with a big bowl of popcorn on Friday afternoons to view a variety of good videos, both classic and contemporary. Don't worry, the content won't be violent and never holds a higher rating than PG.
Quiet Room
Homework help is available and students may be referred by teachers and/or parents. This is the spot to do quiet computer work, read a book, or quietly work on projects.
