Math Instruction at CLC We believe in providing math instruction according to the ability levels of our students. Each student is placed in a math class with students who are working at about the same level. Students are also grouped according to their learning styles. Teacher recommendation, score on the CLC Math Placement Test, prior standardized test scores, parent input, and classroom observation determine math class placement. If you feel that your child has been placed in the wrong math class, contact your child's math teacher as soon as possible to discuss a change in placement. Most math classes use a core textbook and supplemental materials. Students generally receive homework 3 - 4 nights a week. Check your child's math teacher's web page for more information.
