CLC Board Meeting Minutes

I. Approval of the Minutes
The minutes from the November meeting were approved.
III. Business
- The CLC is now an affiliate with the Coalition of Essential Schools
for the purposes of having the help and support of drafting the
Comprehensive School Reform Demonstration Grant. This process is
still underway.
- Fundraising drive has a balance of over $600 to date.
- The CLC is relooking at the church property for lease/purchase. Ann
will be going on another walk-through with the realtor to clarify
boundary lines and a playground area next week.
- New custodial services have started and the services have been good
thus far.
- A new Spanish teacher has been hired to start January 4. She comes
with high recommedations and 5 years of teaching Spanish in the
Tyrone High School.
- A separate bank account has been established for the 8th grade
students that are running the school store.
IV. Other Business
- There are now 93 students, 3 openings in the school remain. The
registration of new students begins in March of this year.
IV. Financial
Authorization to pay bills - The board approved
paying the bills.
The meeting adjorned at 7:44 pm.
The next regular meeting of the Board will be on 1/25/2001
