Missed Assignment Consequences

What appears below are the basic consequences for incomplete and late assignments. Mark reserves the right to change the consequences based on an individual student's needs. In the end, the consequences are in place to help a student develop better habits. The consequences below apply to all major and minor assignments.

1st Missed or Late Assignment

• No recess until missed or late assignment is complete. You will miss one recess.
• No music for one week.
• A note will be sent home.

2nd Missed or Late Assignment

• No recess for one week.
• No music for at least one week. (Mark will decide on length of time.)
• Must eat lunch at Mark's round table.
• Responsible for one extra special chore.
• A note will be sent home.

3rd Missed or Late Assignment

• No recess until a long term change in academic behavior is noted.
• No music until a long term change in academic behavior is noted.
• No recess until a long term change in academic behavior is noted.
• No technology privileges until a long term change in academic behavior is noted. (You may not take home laptop, and you may lose laptop altogether. )
• A note will be sent home.
• Parent meeting.

4th Missed or Late Assignment

• Academic and Behavioral Contract developed with parents.
