Throughout the explorations unit we will be practicing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. We will be investigating three nonfiction selections, and one science fiction short story. We plan to spend about one month on each of the four topics (oceanography, science fiction, the scientific method, and the solar system).
We will be addressing the following standards throughout the unit:
