| Introduction: | In this web quest you will create biographical cards highlighting the lives of famous actors, artists, athletes, authors, business people, musicians, newsmakers, political figures, or scientists. One of the lives you will highlight will be your own, so you can trade with others and get to know them better. You may reformat your card differently to include all of your most famous qualities and experiences. "Rock On Superstars!" |
| Task: | You will create biography cards of 10 people. Each card must contain the following information about that person: - Name, Date of Birth, Hometown, Profession, Picture/Photo. - What made them famous? - How did their work change the world? - Why did you pick this person? |
| Process: | To complete this task you will take the following steps: 1. Choose ten famous people you would like to know more about. 2. View the example biography card. 3. Complete the source worksheet. 4. Create a biography card for each individual you would like to know more about. 5. Trade your cards with other students to learn about other famous people. |
