About the Project
Introduction
During this project, you will be completing a variety of hands-on science experiments. We will be using tools and following procedures similar to those used and followed by real chemists who work in real science labs!
Also during this project, you will be required to read a biography of a famous scientist (preferably a chemist) and do additional research about the life and accomplishments of the scientist. You will then complete a "Scientist Showcase" to teach the rest of the class all about your scientist of choice!
The final aspect of this project will be to research, write up, and perform fun chemistry experiments of your own! You will then summarize the procedure of your favorite experiment (and the results) to present to the class!
